Zero Carbon Live/Work Residence: In product development, it is a “cabin” for creative thinking and making, a shift in perspective and atmosphere to foster one’s creative potential. Space designed to relax, research, inspire, and experiment, tailored to your specific needs.
Each iteration outlines the possibilities for different massing, locations of transparency, and arrangement of spaces within the design system. The design process will tune the concept to your specificity of place and program to maximize the site, views, and arrangement. This cabin is designed to passive house standards, includes rainwater harvesting, is all-electric, and can be off-grid.

Configuration 1 maximizes the 360-degree connection to the natural landscape to expand the immersive living experience, views, and daylight potential. The living and studio space flows to outdoor spaces that surround the living spaces.
Configuration 2 focuses on alternate connections to the adjacent landscape, outdoor spaces, roof geometry, and interiors. The living and studio spaces connect outdoor gathering and maker spaces as desirable.
